Tigresa’s name is Spanish for tigress due to her beautiful brindle colouring. She is a sweet-natured young dog who loves to play, especially with other dogs.
Tigresa started life as a street dog in Mexico and found her way to a foster after she was hit by a car. She required surgery to remove one of her kidneys and orthopedic surgery on her left hind leg. Tigresa's leg is healed, and she has learned to walk on it properly. She underwent a six-week rehabilitative program to build muscle on her injured hind leg and for her to place more weight on it.
Tigresa loves to run around and play. She loves being chased and can run like the wind! She is also happy chilling on the couch.
Tigresa loves kids. A home without cats is best since she likes to chase them. With the proper introductions, Tigresa gets along well with most dogs, but she can be bossy.
Tigresa is being fostered in the GTA.
