Pip is a sweet, playful boy that loves everyone!
Pip arrived at Paws Above Rescue on October 10, 2024 when he was only one-week-old. While otherwise healthy, Pip was born with a cleft palate which is an opening in the roof of his mouth. Pip has been closely monitored to ensure he eats and drinks properly. At three weeks old, Pip started drinking on his own using a small water dispenser tube. At six weeks old, Pip started feeding on his own rather than using a feeding tube. It is recommended that he have cleft palate surgery at five to six months old. This will be covered by the rescue at our vet in Richmond Hill.
