All cats placed through Paws Above Rescue may have had health checks, personality and temperament evaluations. If not, the foster agrees to bring the cat to the vet. They also agree to provide feedback on temperament. Some will be spayed or neutered prior to placement but that may be something we require the foster to assist with, unless a medical condition exists, diagnosed by a veterinarian, that would prevent this surgery. I understand that this is a preliminary application and that there may be no cat available in rescue at this time. I understand that if a suitable cat should become available, Paws Above will reach out to me in the future. I further understand that all information on my Preliminary Rescue Foster Application will be kept confidential; that my application will be kept on file until I notify Paws Above Rescue that I am no longer interested in fostering; and that I will not be contacted unless an appropriate cat becomes available. I agree to foster exclusively for Paws Above. If not possible, I agree to not have a cat from another rescue housed with my Paws Above dog. I agree not to change the name of my foster cat and that they should only be referred to by their official name whenever attending a vet visit or meet and greet. I understand and agree *
