Adoption Fees

Why Do Rescues Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Paws Above Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs
  • $1000.00 - Puppies/Dogs aged between 0 months through 6 months
  • $800.00 - Dogs aged 6 months though year 1
  • $600.00 - Dogs aged 1 years though year 3
  • $500.00 - Dogs aged 4 years though year 6
  • $400.00 - Dogs aged 7 years and up

Fees for Dogs and Cats with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Purebred cats
  • $300 - Kitten
  • $250 - Adult
  • $200 - Senior
Non Purebred cats
  • $250 - Kitten
  • $200 - Adult
  • $150 - Senior

 

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help Paws Above Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, Paws Above Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

Dogs
  • Rabies
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Bordetella
  • 4DX - Heatworm, Lyme, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Fecal tested
  • Females spayed, Males neutered or sterilization contract
  • Micro-chipped
  • Martingale or harness
Cats
  • Rabies & FVRCP
  • Test for Leukemia and AIDS
  • Deworming
  • Fecal Test
  • Females spayed, Males neutered or sterilization contract
  • Microchipped
